I give you the Weapon against your Goliath.

Here, are  your five stones:

1. Prayer with the heart: ROSARY

2. EUCHARIST

3. HOLY BIBLE

4.  FASTING

5.  MONTHLY CONFESSION.

Your Wisdom O' LORD is from afar,

All is seen, All is known.

The just man lives for You, alone.

Idols are made and stand as stone,

No life, nor knowledge, do they impart.

No idol did David build,

For YOU remained within his heart.

Goliath's insults hurled toward God

Brought pain to David's noble heart.

The shepherd boy without a sword,

with sling and stone his only art,

slayed the giant and gained reward.

What is our Giant needing death?

 Our "idol" which we cling to breast?

Would we choose to fight the "beast"

With those same Stones of Faith unleashed?

Or is it sword and armor worn,

That is the "might" which we have sworn?
